ZOO 2012

We are Zoo members. It's probably the cheapest thing to be a member of here in San Antonio 

and with their early summer hours for members, we can be there at 7:30 and be back 

at home in the AC before it gets too hot. :) 

Last month Daniel took the day off and joined us at the Zoo.

Usually we don't see much of him, much less see him actually move.

I don't know how he holds em both at the same time.

These two are so much alike. I love it.

Sophie is starting to be more independent, 

so daniel puts her on his shoulders to keep track of her.

Weekend Away!

Daniel and I went away for the weekend back in May for the first time in our marriage. 

It was amazing. If you haven't done this yet, you should. 

I felt guilty for the first little bit, worried about the kids, but we made the most of it and had a great time!

I got a free upgrade on the rental to a Dodge Avenger. 

We drove up to the hill country and stayed near Canyon Lake at a B&B 

Our suite was awesome. Stained glass in the bathroom.

We stayed another night and drove home in time to sit with the kids for church.

Happy Birthday Papa Ed!

  

Papa Frank came to visit and immediately gives gifts and starts taking pictures. :)

Sophie got a purse with a horse in it and Ethan got a football that lights up. 

They loved it!

  

Sophie warmed up to Papa right away. I was so excited for Dad to see Sophie and how she's grown. 

I think she looks like a Peterson and I'm proud that she has the same eyes and cheeks as me. :)

He's totally wrapped around her little finger.
